Dear Colleagues,
With much regret, we inform you that we are no longer able to organise the FARNET seminar “Better local strategies around the Baltic Sea and inland areas” in 2020.
Even though some of the restrictions due to the coronavirus pandemic are slowly being relaxed, it is still not clear how soon transnational travel or organisation of large-scale events will be permitted. Given the number of participants and the interactive nature of our seminars, with a strong focus on direct exchange of experience, we do not believe that an online event would be a satisfactory option.
We are very grateful to those of you who have registered so far, for the original dates (5-7 May) or for the second option (23-25 June): please accept our apologies!
However, we hope to be able to offer the Baltic and inland FLAGs the possibility to participate in a FARNET seminar in spring 2021, together with FLAGs from the Atlantic and North Sea basins. We will inform you about the time and place of this event closer to the date.
In the meantime, we will stay in touch.
